Jay Harris
Jay Harris has a Master's in international affairs from George Washington University and completed doctoral work in K-12 global education at Ohio State University. He has designed and implemented programs for global/intercultural perspectives for schools, communities, and agencies at state and national levels. Jay was a primary co-author of the state of Wisconsin's 400-page Planning Curriculum in International Education. He has been an external reviewer of other curriculum products, a consultant on international school and program design, and a speaker at teacher conferences on international education.As International Projects Coordinator at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, he leads an annual summer program in Jordan for American teens with funding from the U.S. Dept. of State. Jay participated in two highly competitive study tours for educators, one in the Middle East and the other in Japan, and has presented conference sessions on getting selected for such programs. |
