Save the Rainforest
Engage your students in the ultimate environmental education adventure. Experience the outdoor classroom of the tropical rainforests. Bring this once in a lifetime opportunity to your students by coordinating a trip to the rainforest with Save The Rainforest. Save The Rainforest is a nonprofit group run by teachers to help foster education and conservation of tropical rainforests. Our nonprofit status allows us the opportunity to make the all-inclusive trips very affordable. Teachers who lead an expedition will travel free. Save The Rainforest's volunteer board of teachers has sent over 8000 students and teachers to rainforest lodges and education centers for 18 years. Save the Rainforest was integral in creating the International Children's rainforests that are scattered throughout Central and South America. Thousands of acres of rainforests were protected by donations of children from around the world. Save The Rainforest's trips are designed to allow students to visit the very rainforests they helped save with their classroom projects.
Your trip with Save The Rainforest will be safe, fun, educational and truly inspirational.
If you have never taken students overseas, Save The Rainforest will
make it easy for you. Airfare, meals, lodging, in-country
transportation, and 24 hour-a-day guides are all included in the price.
There are no hidden costs. Each trip is unique. Learning about the rainforest ecosystem and conservation first hand from experienced guides and naturalists is an educational journey that cannot be topped. But there is more than just the rainforest. Some trips go to coral reefs and snorkel the endangered ecosystem. Staying overnight in an Indian village is a highlight of a lifetime for many. All trips learn about the culture and history of the country and some offer an opportunity to visit colonial or Mayan ruins. The itinerary may also include conservation work with local environmental groups. Ecosystems around the world are under extreme pressure. Make a difference by organizing a trip with Save The Rainforest.
