Evaluation
GEEO will be conducting a study in order to improve our program and better understand how experiences abroad impact teachers that travel through our program and the students they teach when they return to the classroom. This study will ask questions to both participating teachers and their students. Surveys will be done in a three step process:
- First, before a teacher goes on the trip. This survey will be taken by their current group of students. (Spring 2009)
- Second, soon after they implement the GEEO program upon returning from their trip with their new group of students. (Fall 2009)
- Third, again with the same students 7 months later (Spring 2010)
