Beth Begy currently teaches high school science in Rochester, NY. She has a Masters in Secondary Education, and is credentialed in both NY and CA. Begy taught for 2 years in South Central, Los Angeles as a part of the Teach For America program--a highly selective corps of college graduates who join the movement to eliminate educational inequality in the nation's lowest-income communities. Begy also served as the educational director during World Flight 2000, a flight around the world to help teach children more about the world around them.

Beth serves as GEEO's director of teacher outreach and helps GEEO better understand the needs of teachers.
