GEEO's trips have been developed with teachers in mind.  Our trips are run in July and August during the Summer vacation.  Each trip is between 2-3 weeks, giving teachers time to pursue other activities over their break as well.  Our trips are private group tours of 8-15 people and are only available to teachers, principals and the friends and family (over the age of 20) of those educators traveling on the trip.  

While each of our trips are amazing adventures, GEEO also makes sure that participants come away with a greater understanding of the place to which they traveled and of the developing world.  Each trip includes:

• At least one school visit.  We will usually try to visit one urban and one rural school.  Activities vary at the individual schools.
• A volunteer experience of 1-3 days to see first hand the needs of the developing world. 
• Cultural interactions: It is important to meet the locals!
