Terms and Conditions
The purchase of any travel services offered by GEEO and G Adventures constitutes a contractual arrangement between you and GEEO and G Adventures, and represents your acceptance of the Terms and Conditions set out herein. Make sure you read this information carefully and understand these Terms and Conditions prior to booking. These Terms and Conditions are subject to change.
While it is our intention to adhere to the route described, on occasion it may be necessary, or desirable to make alterations. Due to our style of travel and the regions we visit, travel can be unpredictable. Our itinerary is a general guide to the tour and region and any mention of specific destinations or wildlife or other attractions is by no means a guarantee that they will be visited or encountered. Additionally, any travel times listed are approximations only and subject to vary due to local or other circumstances.
GEEO reserves the right to impose surcharges (price increases) up to 30 days before departure due to unfavorable changes in exchange rates, increases in air fares or other transportation/fuel costs, increases in local operator costs, taxes, if government action should require us to do so, or for any reason whatsoever. If any surcharge results in an increase of more than 7% of the tour cost, excluding Trip Cancellation Insurance Premiums, the participant may cancel the booking within 14 days of notification of the surcharge and obtain a full refund of all monies paid (excluding Trip Cancellation Insurance Premiums and/or flights). Please note, GEEO has yet to impose a surcharge on any of our trips and hope that will remain the case, but cannot make any predictions regarding future surcharges.
Important Note: GEEO programs need a minimum amount of people to depart. On rare occasions in our sole discretion, GEEO will cancel a program and fully refund participants if we have not reached our minimum number of participants 75 days prior to departure. DO NOT book your flights until GEEO has confirmed we have reached the minimum amount of participants needed to run this program. GEEO and G Adventures are not responsible for any expenses incurred by the participant for purchases made before confirmation.
In order to confirm your space in the program of your choice, we require you to complete the GEEO booking form and pay a deposit of $250.00 USD per traveler. (Please read the Lifetime Deposit description below)
2) Final Payment
Remainder of payment is due to G Adventures no later than 60 days prior to departure.

Verbal cancellation requests will not be honored.* Cancellation 60 days or more prior to departure = Deposit is kept on file for future use (See Lifetime Deposit below)

Travel medical insurance including personal medical as well as emergency evacuation and repatriation up to US $200,000 of coverage is compulsory. You will not be permitted to participate in the trip until your group leader/local representative has seen evidence of travel insurance coverage. You can also get your insurance directly through G Adventures if you wish or there is also something called a "International Volunteer Card" that is worth considering. They have a $35 card (The individual plus option) that includes the amount of travel medical insurance you need for our trip, plus other trip insurance benefits. To sign up for the card you can follow this link:
You can also purchase cancellation insurance through the IVC card as well, which is something we HIGHLY recommend. When purchasing cancellation insurance you should check to see what it covers.
HEALTH / SAFETY AND SECURITY
We recommend you contact your family physician, or your local travel clinic for the most up-to-date health information. Travelers should also carry a basic first-aid kit. It is your responsibility to know if you require any vaccinations or precautions for the country that you are visiting. More information can be found at: http://www.istm.org or contact your countrys Health or Foreign Affairs department.
Travelers must exercise common sense and caution at all times. Tourists should stick to set travel arrangements and avoid unknown areas. Always keep a photocopy of your passport, airline tickets and a record of your travelers checks and credit card numbers separate from where you keep the originals and ideally with your emergency contact person back at home. GEEO and G Adventures will not accept responsibility for loss or damage of valuables or other articles during our trips.
